Heatsink Paste Thermal Grease

The Heatsink Paste is also called a Thermal Grease which is mostly used in CPUs to make its heat operation higher. This paste has thermal conduction property compound which acts as in interface between the heat source and the heatsinks. This will eliminate air gaps to maximize the transfer of heat. There are a lot of ways where you can apply this paste easily and effectively. This is an important product which you to have available on hand and at home.

How to Apply

1. Clean first the surface of the CPU. Wipe using a cotton ball or a cloth damped with alcohol. 70% alcohol is fine but if you can use a 90% alcohol, much better.
2. If the heat sink is rough, you need to sand it first to smoothen it. It needs to be flat and smooth to achieve the cooling performance.
3. Apply the thermal paste by starting from the center. Place a small drop of the paste of the base. Make sure you only put a small amount because any excess may lead to getting the paste into your motherboard. The center part is the most important and there is no need to spread it. And always remember to keep it away from PCB and other parts.

Storage Reminder

Each tube contains 5 grams of paste which can last you for numbers of uses. It has a twistable cap to keep the content safe when not in use. The tue is small and is very easy to store. Keep in a cool dry place and make sure it is out of reach of children.
